Kyle Zimmerman

Saxophone, ewi & Percussion

Kyle Zimmerman started the saxophone when he was 11 years old. In high school, he studied under the direction of Thara Memory while in his big band, the Pacific Crest Orchestra. During this time, he competed all over the country at festivals with the big band and had the opportunity to perform with greats such as Esperanza Spalding, Farnell Newton, Bob Mintzer, and Randy Weston.

 

Kyle currently attends Berklee College of Music, during his time there he's had the privilege to study with teachers such as Rick DiMuzio, Dave Santoro, Ralph Peterson Jr., Jacques Schwartz-Bart, George Garzone and Tia Fuller. Kyle has also has performed with people such as John Oates, Jon Butcher, the Beantown Swing Orchestra, and his band LANDS, which he traveled to Vietnam with to perform in the 2016 Monsoon Music Festival.
